I’ve decided that next year I’m going to try and get all my people from the ole 85282 to come out to el lay during this week of April. Reason: The other side of Coachella. Due to its’ expansion to 2 weeks, a lot of the artists are staying in the LA area for the week and some are playing smaller more intimate sets at local venues. For example, this week I’ll be seeing the likes of Florence + the Machine, Manchester Orchestra, Grouplove and Explosions in the Sky. And the best part: (with the exception of Florence) all these shows were incredibly affordable with tix ranging from $10-$20. Let’s be honest, in elLay, you’ve got yourself a steal if you can get into shows for anything less than $50. oh, and in case anyone was wondering, yes, florence was beyond amazing. Girl fucking owned it.
